The only dependency I see currently is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1170257. That fix is for ORM, not Validator.

Is there any other reason to upgrade Validator?

If Validator does not need to be upgraded, then please change this BZ to upgrade ORM from 4.2.18.Final-redhat-1 to 4.2.19.Final-redhat-1.

There is another BZ that should be included in 4.2.19.Final-redhat-1 as well:
