Description Paul Ferraro 2015-02-26 18:32:59 UTC
e.g. shared transport will be replaced by FORK channels in EAP7.
There are a number of items to deprecate in both the jgroups and infinispan subsystems.

Verified with EAP 6.4.0.CR1.

I'm not entirely sure how the deprecations are supposed to manifest themselves, they don't seem to be readily visible in the web console nor does a message appear in the CLI when modifying a deprecated attribute. A log message is printed during server boot for each deprecated attribute, which is nice but somewhat aggressive.

Anyway, I believe that these deprecations should be documented in release notes. For that, I filed bug 1202302.
