Description of problem:
Trying to install Fedora Core 1.1 on a HP omnibook xe4500 laptop, it 
hangs when asking if I want to skip the CD media verification.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.insert the Fedora core 1.1 installation disk 1 in the CD reader
2.reboot  
3.just press <ENTER> at the "boot:" prompt

    

Actual Results:  The system hangs on the screen asking if you want to 
skip cdrom verification.

Expected Results:  It should go on with the installation

Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of
the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem
persists.

The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, 
and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in
the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
