Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

How is this coming? It's been a little while and more than a few customers could be making use of ipv6 support instead of choosing other products.

Comment 40 Dana Singleterry 2021-06-04 15:31:39 UTC
Thank you for your interest in Satellite 6. We have evaluated this request, and while we recognize that it is a valid request, we do not expect this to be implemented in the product in the foreseeable future. This is due to other priorities for the product, and not a reflection on the request itself. We are therefore closing this out as WONTFIX. If you have any concerns about this, please do not reopen. Instead, feel free to contact Red Hat Technical Support. Thank you.

Note: IPv6 support within Satellite was introduced in version 6.8. While Satellite 6.8 does not embody full support it does provide support for primary uses cases per customer requests. If you see that you have a specific IPv6 use case that is not supported, please open a specific BZ to address that use case.
