It seems that %{?dist} tag was omitted from release tag during recent version bump. According to packaging guidelines package must include %{?dist} tag in spec file release tag. https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:DistTag https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:NamingGuidelines#Release_Tag
Do you have proof of that? I just looked but: Release: 2%{?dist} seems to be there.
