As shown here: http://goo.gl/fpehVL This is a long-standing bug. Starting with: "Fix window positioning and gravity" http://git.xfce.org/xfce/xfwm4/commit/?id=80647b9 bug has been improved. Ref. "virt-manager window "travel" to the top left hot corner when restored from systray" https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11693 "virt-manager doesn't correctly restore its position" https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=907014 Status: CLOSED EOL "[Regression] Commit 62edeb7 causes some windows to "travel" when restored from tray" https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11670 Status: RESOLVED FIXED
"bug has been improved" can you expand on this? Did this commit fix the bug entirely? Your video shows the bug, not the version with the commit? Also, can you please stop private emailing tons of people about specific bugs you think are urgent? It just makes it less likely anyone involved is going to want to assist you. Keep things in bugzilla please.

If the bug is improved, it means the situation is worse. > Your video shows the bug, not the version with the commit? > "This is a long-standing bug." Which part you do not understand!? > Also, can you please stop private emailing tons of people about specific > bugs you think are urgent? > It just makes it less likely anyone involved is going to want to assist you. > Keep things in bugzilla please. Ignoratio elenchi. I am helping you, not vice versa. Besides you are authentic only if you speak for yourself, therefore. Please stop fooling around, and resolve the "flying" window.

How clever. Instead could you actually say in plain language what you mean? Perhaps something like: "The bug has gotten worse with this patch/commit, now it does X" > > > Your video shows the bug, not the version with the commit? > > > > "This is a long-standing bug." > Which part you do not understand!? > > > Also, can you please stop private emailing tons of people about specific > > bugs you think are urgent? > > It just makes it less likely anyone involved is going to want to assist you. > > Keep things in bugzilla please. > > Ignoratio elenchi. > I am helping you, not vice versa. But you aren't. You are wasting my time. > Besides you are authentic only if you speak for yourself, therefore. > > Please stop fooling around, and resolve the "flying" window. I have no immediate solution, or I would have commited it. This is something for upstream to fix up. You already have an upstream bug, so lets them them look at it when they have a chance and fix it up. Since there's currently nothing for us to do here, I am closing this bug.
