Description of problem:
I tried to launch xfdashboard when I had two monitors installed and have now tried in with one monitor with the same crash.  I am on fedora 22 alpha so it might be an alpha problem

Is this a one time crash (both with a single monitor and dual monitor) or is it occuring constantly? Asking because I am seeing no problems on my laptop with just one monitor (can't test two monitors, unfortunately).

* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora 22 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing xfdashboard-0.3.90-1.fc22'
as soon as you are able to.
