6.1.0 ER6: Process with swimlane none

Description Sona Mala 2015-03-18 17:51:18 UTC
Description of problem:
Sometimes is happen that canvas does not react on any mouse event. It is happen when I performed few quick mouse events and BP contains swimlane or subprocess. I cannot reproduce this issue, if I use a simple process (1th level).

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
6.1.0 ER6, I used IE11 + Win8, I have not tested IE10 yet

Steps to Reproduce:
A. Swimlane
  1. create a new BP
  2. add swimlane
  3. append a task behind the start node
  4. try to move task into swimlane
  5. move / activate / deactivate it quickly

B. Subprocess
  1. create a new BP
  2. add subprocess (I used Embedded, AdHoc)
  3. add start node into subprocess
  4. append a task behind the start node

Actual results:
Canvas does not react on any mouse event. The user cannot choose another element on canvas. Canvas allows to add elements from shape repository.

It can be fixed by saving the process and reopening it. But it is really annoying for users.

Expected results:
Canvas still react on mouse events and allows to activate another element.

Comment 5 Jeremy Lindop 2015-03-19 17:04:49 UTC
The fact that the canvas stops responding when the user adds or moves nodes inside a sub-process or swimlane has been fixed.

However, when you add or move a node inside a sub-process or swimlane, the new node isn't selected. This has been recorded as a new bug:
