Description Zuzana Krejčová 2015-03-19 11:03:25 UTC
Description of problem:
This applies to guided rules and guided rule templates.
Open a guided rule (or template) in the authoring perspective, leave it open and switch to administration, where you delete this asset or the whole repository. If you then switch back to the authoring perspective, the asset is still open, though it is just a panel with a "No such file. ..." message. It is impossible to close this asset, the perspective cannot be restored with the "medkit" icon/button, you cannot switch perspectives either. It is though possible to work within the perspective.
To be able to switch to other perspectives, user has to refresh the page. After that refresh, once you get back to the authoring perspective, your stuck again.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
6.1 ER6

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a guided rule rule.rdrl, leave the editor open.
2. Switch to the administration perspective, navigate through the file explorer and open and delete the rule.rdrl asset.
3. Switch back to authoring.
4. Try to close the rule.rdrl 'editor', try to switch to a different perspective.

Actual results:
The asset cannot be closed, it is not possible to switch perspectives.

Expected results:
The asset can be closed, it is possible to switch perspectives (without refresh).

Additional info:
The same doesn't happen for other asset editors (drl, dsl, enum, globals, ts, gdt, process, .java).

Please see the referenced BZ.

I will not close this as a DUPLICATE so that it can be tested.
