Thanks for the report. We'll take a look.

I'm using a local for my box and all my VM's to test my rpms before i push them at bodhi, i'm maintaining mate desktop. Dnf f22 seems to complete ignore my local repo. A command example: [rave@qemu-f22-gtk3 ~]$ sudo dnf migrate Failed to synchronize cache for repo »result« from »file:/media/nfs/mock/fedora-22-x86_64-Mate-1.9-GTK3/« Cannot prepare internal mirrorlist: realpath(file:/media/nfs/mock/fedora-22-x86_64-Mate-1.9-GTK3/) error: File or Path not found, disabling. Shure , i can install a created package by hand, but this take more time and slow down my work for fedora. Please fix it. Thank you
Downgrading yum to yum-3.4.3-155.fc22 and locking this version solves the problem for me.
dnf 0.6.4 work fine with a local repo for me cat /etc/yum.repos.d/dnf-daemon-test.repo [dnf-daemon-test] name=dnf-daemon test repo baseurl=file:///home/tim/udv/dnf-daemon/test/pkgs/repo/ gpgcheck=0 enabled=1
I think this report starts to be a bit messy. According to the blocker bug and the duplicate bug I understand that this is about the problem with google-chrome repo synchronization. So, let's track the other problem (the problem with _local repo synchronization), which is also mentioned in the Comment 0 and in the summary, in another already filed bug 1209862. And as for the problem reported in the Comment 3, it seems that it's an error in librepo. Please see https://github.com/Tojaj/librepo/issues/55. As a workaround, change the URL to "file:///media/nfs/mock/fedora-22-x86_64-Mate-1.9-GTK3/".
Thanks, using 3 slashes fixes the issue with local repos.
Do you still experience this issue (cannot sync chrome repo metadata)?
Running now on f22. No, I haven't seen this problem for quite a while.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 21 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 21. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as EOL if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '21'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we were not able to fix it before Fedora 21 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior this bug is closed as described in the policy above. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
Fedora 21 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2015-12-01. Fedora 21 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
still encountering this problem under newest Fedora 22 I did these workarounds to make it work [--]$ ls /etc/yum.repos.d/ fedora.repo fedora-updates-testing.repo fedora-updates.repo google-chrome.repo [--]$ sudo mv /etc/yum.repos.d/ ~/tmp/ then everything went normal again
