Description of problem: After fedup to F22 and installing abrt-2.5.0-2.fc22 /var/tmp/abrt has the permissions drwxr-x--x. and owner abrt:abrt. This has several bad effects: 1. gnome-abrt can never work 2. abrt-cli will fail as any non-root user On F21 with abrt-2.3.0-4.fc21 it has drwxr-xr-x. This behaviour might depend on the users umask.
Thank you for the report. > 1. gnome-abrt can never work Are you sure? gnome-abrt works for me. gnome-abrt does not require file system access, it communicates over dbus. Can you please provide some diagnostics data (gnome-abrt -vvv)? > 2. abrt-cli will fail as any non-root user I apologise for this issue. This upstream pull request fixes it: https://github.com/abrt/abrt/pull/938
Created attachment 1006367 [details] as requested in comment 1: $ gnome-abrt -vvv > gnome-abrt.log 2&>1 Ok, so for 1. I got the wrong conclusion. I was running into #1205450 or #1204339 respectively. Attaching the debug log anyway.
