Issue on RHEL 7 / Fedora 21 due to blivet version

Comment 2 Timothy Asir 2015-03-30 07:11:22 UTC
Patch sent and merged into upstream for build related issues: https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/39132/

However The complete fix depends on one more bug from blivet side.

Comment 3 RamaKasturi 2015-04-07 10:40:26 UTC
Cannot create brick when host is added using JSON RPC.

Comment 4 RamaKasturi 2015-05-19 06:39:23 UTC
Moving this to assigned because the fix is available in RHEL7.2 and not RHEL7.1.

Tried creating a brick in json rpc mode, still fails with unexpected error. I see the following in the vdsm log.

Comment 5 Red Hat Bugzilla Rules Engine 2015-10-19 11:00:13 UTC
Target release should be placed once a package build is known to fix a issue. Since this bug is not modified, the target version has been reset. Please use target milestone to plan a fix for a oVirt release.

Comment 6 Sandro Bonazzola 2015-10-26 12:32:17 UTC
this is an automated message. oVirt 3.6.0 RC3 has been released and GA is targeted to next week, Nov 4th 2015.
Please review this bug and if not a blocker, please postpone to a later release.
All bugs not postponed on GA release will be automatically re-targeted to

- 3.6.1 if severity >= high
- 4.0 if severity < high

Comment 7 Sandro Bonazzola 2015-11-05 08:14:34 UTC
oVirt 3.6.0 has been released on November 4th, re-targeting to 3.6.1 since this bug has been marked as high severity

Comment 8 Sahina Bose 2015-12-10 10:40:20 UTC
The blivet fix is available in latest release of RHEL 7, so moving to ON_QA

Comment 9 RamaKasturi 2016-02-01 11:19:32 UTC
Tested with RHEV 3.6.2.6 and RHGS Nightly ( glusterfs-3.7.5-17.el7rhgs )

Created a brick from RHEV UI and it works fine on a RHEL7 node.
