Last modified: 2007-11-30 17:10:40 EST
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.8C-SGI [en] (X11; U; IRIX64 6.5 IP28)
Description of problem:
The installer stops working when it tries to install the bootloader
XFS was chosen for the filesystems by starting the installer with
"linux xfs text".
"Personal Desktop", Autopartition, change filesystems for / and /boot
from ext3 to xfs, no SELinux, no firewall.
Installations performs well until it tries to install GRUB.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start installer using "linux xfs"
2. choose XFS for filesystems
3. wait for installing GRUB
Hardware: Dell Latitude C610
Note that although this is here, xfs is still completely unsupported
# this is totally, 100% unsupported. Boot with "linux xfs"
# at the boot: prompt will let you make new xfs filesystems
# in the installer. Bugs filed when you use this will be closed
