Description Yanko Kaneti 2015-03-26 13:48:01 UTC
Description of problem:
With some recent iscsi changes in the kernel (4.0rc), targetcli restore here errors out while restoring a config created a month or so ago (again on rawhide)
The error is

target[1057]: Storage Object block/p_back: Cannot set attribute emulate_fua_write: [Errno 22] Invalid argument, skipped

FWIW p is a lvm volume

While the restore exits with an error and the service remains in failed state the said target as actually working.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
targetcli-2.1.fb39-1.fc22.noarch
kernel 4.0.0-0.rc5.git0.3.fc23.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

fix created and posted upstream

Comment 2 Yanko Kaneti 2015-04-22 12:15:12 UTC
I can see that your fix landed in linus's tree, and consequently rawhide.
Things work as expected now here.

Thanks.

Perhaps this bug can be closed now.
