Another user experienced a similar problem: Had a window with a grid view open, then clicked on application menu and tried to open preferences. Actual: It crashed. Expected: It doesn't crash :). reporter: libreport-2.5.1 backtrace_rating: 4 cmdline: /usr/bin/nautilus --gapplication-service crash_function: nautilus_file_is_in_trash executable: /usr/bin/nautilus global_pid: 4211 kernel: 4.0.0-1.fc22.x86_64 package: nautilus-3.16.1-1.fc22 reason: nautilus killed by SIGABRT runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
I can reproduce this reliably on affected machines (not all of them are affected, not sure what the difference is, it's not just "have some files in trash"). The first time I boot and run Nautilus, it crashes after opening preferences. After that, I can run Nautilus again and this time open preferences just fine. This persists until I reboot, then it repeats.
