Description of problem:
Translation textarea layout breaks (extra lines appear above the text) when using syntax highlighting and pressing [Space] multiple times.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sign in and open the editor for any document and language
2. In editor options, make sure the syntax highlighting editor is active
3. Type [Space] multiple times

Actual results:
A line of space is added at the top of the textbox for each space after the first space.

Expected results:
No lines are added above text.
