+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1208694 +++

This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket:

DS has a feature to be a consumer for a legacy supplier (4.x).

This feature is no longer needed, it could be dropped from the code and documentation

* Remove it from docs for DS 10

I removed the following sections about legacy replication from our guides (10.0, 10.1, and master branch):

Admin Guide:
11.1.8. Replication with 4.x Versions of Directory Server
11.19. Replication with Earlier Releases
+ one glossary entry

Configuration, Command, and File Reference:
3.4.2. Legacy Replication Attributes
4.1.31. Legacy Replication Plug-in
6.4. copiedFrom
6.5. copyingFrom
4.1.31. Legacy Replication Plug-in
+ one glossary entry

Plug-in guide:
One glossary entry

I think the list covers all the places about the legacy replication.

Comment 5 Marc Muehlfeld 2016-11-15 10:24:10 UTC
Luckily, all the screen captures Noriko mentioned in #c4 were only three files in the repository:
* commonsettings.png
* updatesettings.png
* userroot.png
I updated all of them.

Additionally I updated:
* repl-settings.png
The previous version contained a "Legacy Consumer Settings" tab, which no longer exists.

Beside the above mentioned, I updated the following images in the same sections:
* consumer-radio.png
* hub-radio.png
* mmr-radio.png
* sm-radio.png
These ones did not show anything related to legacy replication, but now they have the same style like the other images in these sections.

The update is now available on the Customer Portal.
