Description surabhi 2015-04-06 07:38:49 EDT
Description of problem:
*******************************
Need Samba build for RHEL7 with dependency issues resolved.
When I tried installing RHS3.0.4 Samba build on RHEL7 it gave dependency errors and samba was not installed.
Raising this issue so that while doing the build for RHEL7, the dependencies issues also should be resolved.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEL7 with RHS3.0.4 samba bits

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install RHEL7
2.Install gluster bits
3.Install RHS3.0.4 Samba bits

Actual results:
Samba install fails because of following dependency issues:
Error: Package: pytalloc-2.1.1-3.el6rhs.x86_64 (rhs3.0.4-ctdb-libs)
           Requires: python(abi) = 2.6

Expected results:
there should not be dependency issues once we get samba bits for RHEL7.

Samba build for RHEL7 is available with correct dist-tags.
There is one dependency issue with samba-pidl package. Another BZ is tracking that.
Marking this BZ as verified.
Build: samba-4.1.17-7.el7rhgs.x86_64.rpm
