Description anish 2015-04-07 03:28:34 UTC
Description of problem:
I have changed my email address in FAS from Red Hat address to my personal email address and now I want to change it in bugzilla as well.
However in bugzilla.redhat.com account --> preferences --> account
information don't show any option to change my personal email address.

Can you please change my email address to anish.developer in bugzilla.redhat.com

Comment 1 Jason McDonald 2015-04-07 05:48:05 UTC
This restriction is by design. Most @redhat.com Bugzilla accounts have elevated permissions and allow their owners to view information that is not visible to members of the public. Company policy therefore requires that each @redhat.com account remains tied to the user's company email account and cannot continue to be accessed after the user leaves Red Hat.

If you wish to use Red Hat Bugzilla via an external email address, you are welcome to create a new account at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/createaccount.cgi, but you should note that such an account cannot be granted access to Red Hat-confidential data.
