The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:
The following line in my kickstart raises an error that says "no such option: --disklabel":

clearpart --all --drives=sda --disklabel=gpt

There's currently no way to initialize disk partition table to GPT by directly using a kickstart keyword. More recent anaconda versions (starting from 21) have --disklabel argument that is passed to "clearpart" that should handle this.

As a workaround, parted can be used directly in the %pre section.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Write a kickstart that contains the following line:
clearpart --all --drives=sda --disklabel=gpt
2. Use the kickstart for installation and observe the error


Actual results:
no such option: --disklabel


Expected results:
The argument is known and handled well.


Additional info:
Initiating a disk partition table to GPT is a common operation and should be handled without workarounds.

The new anaconda, blivet and pykickstart are now in and this issue really seems to be fixed.
