Description Steve Harp 2004-04-15 21:06:08 UTC
Description of problem:

While installing Fedora I noticed that if the pgm came upon a corrupt
package it would notify the user and allow them to chose to try again.
I did not see an option to either skip that package or abort the
installation
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot from CD and choose a new instalation
2. try to install a package that is corupt
3.

Actual results:

the instalation hangs and there is no way out
Expected results:

a safe way out
Additional info:

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2004-04-15 21:32:30 UTC
Try again is the only safe way out. Skipping packages could lead to
massive dependency problems and aborting could lead to an unbootable
system.
