Red Hat Ceph Storage 1.3 will be based on the 1.3 upstream release of Calamari. This contains a number of feature enhancements and fixes in comparison to RHCS 1.2.
Ken, in the 'description' above you mentioned 'feature enhancements' have been done in 1.3 calamari. Do these 'feature enhancements' contain anything apart from following features in Trello card for calamari: 1. Multi-Cluster UI support. 2. Crushmap management, both read and write. 3. Role support, read/only and read/write. 4. SELinux 5. IPv6 Please confirm so I can ACK this bug tomorrow. Please note that all our test plan and estimates are based on Trello card only for any new features in 1.3.
(In reply to Harish NV Rao from comment #1) > Do these 'feature enhancements' contain anything apart from following > features in Trello card for calamari: ... I don't think we're asking QE to test anything else, right, Gregory?
That list in comment 2 is all that is in 1.3
I guess I'll do the rebase. @Gregory: Can you point me (ideally) to the git commit hashes for calamari-server and calamari-clients I should base this on?
dist-git commits related to build calamari-server-1.3-1.el7cp: http://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/rpms/calamari-server/commit/?h=ceph-1.3-rhel-7&id=308ee7d6a8c6212b652b29c24beb474727b3e9b1
dist-git commits related to build calamari-clients-1.3-1.el7cp: http://pkgs.devel.redhat.com/cgit/rpms/calamari-clients/commit/?h=ceph-1.3-rhel-7&id=23a4143801c9013534851ba478616f806a7cd893
Following calamari features are available for testing in 1.3.0 and hence marking this defect as verified 1. Multi-Cluster UI support. 2. Crushmap management, both read and write. 3. Role support, read/only and read/write. Additional Log: ---------------- [root@Admin ~]# rpm -qa | grep calamari calamari-server-1.3-5.el7cp.x86_64 calamari-clients-1.3-2.el7cp.x86_64 [root@Admin ~]#
