Description Yehuda Sadeh 2015-04-15 17:10:26 UTC
RGW documentation should not refer to s3gw.fcgi.

Comment 3 Nilamdyuti 2015-05-04 11:55:42 UTC
The references to s3gw.fcgi were already removed from the rgw documentation of RHEL and CentOS as the configuration is with mod_proxy_fcgi but it has been retained for the rgw documentation of Ubuntu as our Ubuntu customers are still using mod_fastcgi which requires the s3gw.fcgi script.

Comment 4 shilpa 2015-06-05 09:05:55 UTC
Verified in v1.3 doc

Nilam / John, when does this get closed?

This bug is good to be closed as RHCS v1.3 rgw docs have configuration with Civetweb for both RHEL and Ubuntu and there is no use of s3gw.fcgi in them. Also as I already mentioned in comment 3, RHCS v1.2.3 rgw docs for RHEL and CentOS don't have s3gw.fcgi as the configuration was with mod_proxy_fcgi. Only RHCS v1.2.3 rgw doc for Ubuntu had s3gw.fcgi as for Ubuntu the configuration was with mod_fastcgi.

Ok great, I didn't know whether the changes had been pushed live or not.
