Description Victor Lowther 2015-04-16 14:55:39 UTC
Files rewritten/updated by os-apply-config need to have a header that indicates that they are automatically generated, and a pointer to info describing how to change them safely included.

This will let curious sysadmins and tech support folks not spin their wheels when something needs debugging.

Mike, can you provide context on why this needs to be a blocker for GA?

Comment 4 Mike Orazi 2015-07-01 17:48:14 UTC
Blocker was requested in error.

Hi Dan, I believe this is no longer issue in director since we improved network configs a lot. Could you please verify and close the bug if everything is OK? Thanks, Jarda

This bug was addressed (some time ago, but not sure exactly when). Now, each ifcfg config file (including ifcfg-brctlplane) has this as the first line:

# This file is autogenerated by os-net-config
