Comment 1 Lorenzo Pistone 2015-04-27 01:55:52 UTC
It seems that with kernel 3.19.x, with x > 1, the resume from hibernation process does not work anymore if there is no "resume=" kernel parameter. I have no idea why it worked in the first place before. However, the default grub setup does not add such argument. I fixed this by putting this extra line in /etc/default/grub:

  GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="resume=UUID=xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx"

where the x's are the UUID of my swap device (see /etc/fstab).

OK, this seems to be working. I check today on another machine.

Comment 3 Norbert Hornyák 2015-04-28 04:44:10 UTC
OK, with this option everything is fine.
