[Docs] [Admin] Considerations for selecting an allocation policy must be enhanced
Last modified: 2015-06-02 07:20:21 EDT
Basic considerations for selecting an allocation policy for a virtual disk must be added based on the content in the following article - https://access.redhat.com/solutions/130843 Specifically, that virtual machines with high throughput should use a preallocated disk, and the basic formula as to when the rate a thinly provisioned disk can be expanded could be exceeded. This content should be added to 13.1. "Understanding Virtual Machine Storage", and "13.6.2. Explanation of Settings in the Add Virtual Disk Window". Moreover, the description of the allocation policies in 13.6.2 should be formed into an itemized list to improve clarity.
Assigning to Tahlia for review.
