Created attachment 1017411 [details] sound configurarion Description of problem: Sound not working if i boot my computer into gnome-wayland from poweroff state. If i initially login to x11 session and then relogin to wayland-session, the sound will work. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gnome-session --version say me nothing. Additional info: I tried this with Radeon HDMI Audio.
I cannot confirm this. Sound is working fine for me in gnome wayland sessions. Is this issue still present? If yes I guess it is driver-specific and not a bug in gnome-session.

Ok, so this issue is specific to Radeon/AMD Hardware. Thus it is no bug in gnome-session but your radeon driver. Are you using the open source driver (xorg-x11-drv-ati, radeon) or the proprietary one (catalyst, fglrx)? I guess this issue should be reassigned there. Does your sound work from CLI, e.g. using cvlc? Works fine on my Intel Chipset.
I can not check it now, but perhaps it should disappear in the new versions of the Radeon drivers, so I close this error. I'll open new bug if it will appear in my machines.
