The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "RHEL project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/RHEL-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description of problem:

The legacy HTTPD variable defined in /etc/sysconfig/httpd, which should be ignored according to the documentation, is actually taken into account when doing a graceful restart. When adding the following line to /etc/sysconfig/httpd...

HTTPD=/usr/sbin/httpd.event

...graceful restart fails because of being unable to locate the binary:

# systemctl start httpd
# apachectl reload
/usr/sbin/apachectl: line 137: /usr/sbin/httpd.event: No such file or directory

My apologies, now I see that 'reload' is not a valid apachectl command, so I am not quite sure whether to consider this behaviour a bug or a feature. Strictly speaking, the HTTPD variable should be ignored under any circumstances. Also, the output could surely be more informative when a nonexistent apachectl command is run. On the other hand, whoever enters meaningless commands can hardly expect a meaningful answer.
