Comment 1 Jan Kurik 2015-07-15 14:14:14 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 23 development cycle.
Changing version to '23'.

(As we did not run this process for some time, it could affect also pre-Fedora 23 development
cycle bugs. We are very sorry. It will help us with cleanup during Fedora 23 End Of Life. Thank you.)

More information and reason for this action is here:

Comment 2 Ruben Kerkhof 2016-04-05 14:34:41 UTC
Still an issue on Rawhide.

Comment 3 Haïkel Guémar 2016-04-05 15:58:15 UTC
1. patch is broken, redis-trib requires ruby and rubygem-redis to work, and these are heavy dependencies for an optional feature => *MUST* be in a subpackage
2. redis-trib is more a contrib script than a core feature

Comment 4 Jan Kurik 2016-07-26 04:19:41 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 25 development cycle.
Changing version to '25'.

Comment 5 Nathan Scott 2017-08-15 06:55:51 UTC
If helpful to anyone, I've produced a COPR with redis-trib
sub-package (redis-3.2.10 based) for current Fedora's here:
https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/nathans/redis3/

I believe this covers Haïkel's concerns in #c3 in terms of
the sub-package being conditional on platforms without the
necessary dependencies.
