PR for upstream 1.3 branch: https://github.com/ceph/calamari/pull/275

Comment 3 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2015-04-29 21:27:09 UTC
Discussed this with Gregory on IRC today. The upstream PR https://github.com/ceph/calamari/pull/275 contains two patches. The reason for this is that one of the patches is to fix this issue, and the other is to partially fix the issue described at bug 1215802. A more complete patch for bug 1215802 is still in development.

Comment 7 Harish NV Rao 2015-06-02 07:09:35 UTC
Tested the fix on an admin node running RHEL 7.1 which had SELinux disabled. The calamari-ctl initialize completed successfully.

[root@Admin ~]#
[root@Admin ~]# cat /etc/selinux/config

# This file controls the state of SELinux on the system.
# SELINUX= can take one of these three values:
# enforcing - SELinux security policy is enforced.
# permissive - SELinux prints warnings instead of enforcing.
# disabled - No SELinux policy is loaded.
SELINUX=disabled
# SELINUXTYPE= can take one of three two values:
# targeted - Targeted processes are protected,
# minimum - Modification of targeted policy. Only selected processes are protected.
# mls - Multi Level Security protection.
SELINUXTYPE=targeted

[root@Admin ~]# calamari-ctl initialize
