hp-plugin will only run as root - if you run it as regular user it prints an error: error: You must be root to run this utility. but on F22, where X doesn't run as root, running it as root produces a blank grey window. The reasons for this are discussed in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1185893 , and there's a good summary at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1196237#c18 - basically this needs fixing on the app side somehow or other, it's the app that's Doin' It Rong. I will probably also file this upstream. We should probably document this as CommonBugs for F22 if it doesn't get fixed - the workaround is simple, run 'hp-plugin -i' to get the text mode.

Thanks Adam!
I added the workaround to run hp-plugin graphically (QT_X11_NO_MITSHM=1) to common bugs page.
