As part of the fix provided by patch https://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/40954/, the time zone is now sorted based on GMT +/- values. Also the listing now shows the ful value in the form "Asia/Calcutta (GMT+5:30)".
Retested with ovirt-engine-3.6.0-0.0.master.20150518173633.gitcf0f078.el6.noarch Time Zone list is now sorted according to GMT +/- values. Created bug 1222826 and bug 1222830. --> VERIFIED
oVirt 3.6.0 has been released on November 4th, 2015 and should fix this issue. If problems still persist, please open a new BZ and reference this one.
