It's currently not possible to make tag selection while assigning alert profile to tagged providers,clusters,hosts,VMs and instances,resource pools.

1.Create an alert profile
2.Attempt to assign the alert profile to any tagged entity.

It should be possible to make tag selection while assigning alert profile to tagged providers,clusters,hosts,VMs and instances,resource pools.
