Description of problem: Automake14 is not actually required to build the package. I was able to successfully build with automake 1.8.3. A patch (attached) fixes this dependency. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.1.7-4

* Wed Aug 4 2004 Owen Taylor <otaylor> - 2.1.9-1 - Upgrade to 2.1.9 - Since we are just using automake for aclocal, use it unversioned, instead of specifying 1.4. (Note that this makes the package build far noisier since automake-1.8 complains about most existing m4 files.)
