Description of problem: Currently multiple steps are required to setup nfs-ganesha cluster, it should be a Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): nfs-ganesha-2.2.0-0.el6.x86_64 glusterfs-3.7.0-2.el6rhs.x86_64 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Install the glusterfs and ganesha rpms on rhel6.6. Now multiple steps needs to be executed in oreder to setup the nfs-ganesha cluster 1. Subscribe to rhel-x86_64-server-ha-6 channel 2. Now install pcs, cman and pacemaker 3. remove files from /var/cache/rpcbind on all nodes. 4. update the ganesha.conf file with the VIPs 5. service pcsd start on all nodes. 6. use the command "passwd hacluster", and password being "hacluster", only on one node i.e. the one where "gluster nfs-ganesha enable" is executed. 7. Create a gluster volume with name- gluster_shared_storage 8. Mount it on all the volumes 9. Set nfs.disable off for all the volumes 10. Now run the command gluster nfs-ganesha enable Actual results: Too many manual steps required currently. Expected results: Need very minimal steps to seup Additional info:pcs, cman and pacemaker could be installed during installation if ganesha-rpms, as it is required for setting up ganesha cluster Also after running all the steps ganesha cluster dint come up. Had to run manually pcs cluster auth command with all the hostnames - https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1224065
Not a blocker. We shall document all the steps required. This may be addressed in future release.
gdeploy now supports nfs-ganesha
