+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1208097 +++ Description of problem: ======================= Creation of snapshot now by default is created with time stamp unless explicitly specified the option of no-timestamp. gluster snapshot create Usage: snapshot create <snapname> <volname(s)> [no-timestamp] [description <description>] [force] Currently when using scheduler to create snapshots it appends the time stamp to the snap name which results in the snap name having the time stamp repeat twice. So appending time stamp to snap name while using scheduler to create snapshots should be removed. Stopped appending time-stamp in scheduled snapshots because time-stamps are appended in snapshots by default unless explicitly asked not to. Therefore snapshot created from "Job1" of "test_vol" volume will look like Scheduled-Job1-test_vol_GMT-2015.04.02-09.43.02 Change-Id: I75b4a87d265ed55193f08153fd7ffe521cc5ef68 BUG: 1208097 Signed-off-by: Avra Sengupta <asengupt> Reviewed-on: http://review.gluster.org/10115 Tested-by: Gluster Build System <jenkins.com> Reviewed-by: Rajesh Joseph <rjoseph> Reviewed-by: Vijay Bellur <vbellur> --- Additional comment from Niels de Vos on 2015-05-14 13:27:14 EDT --- This bug is getting closed because a release has been made available that should address the reported issue.
