oVirt gerrit 41963 0 ovirt-engine-3.5-gluster MERGED engine: Georep sync fix deletion of sessions Never

Description RamaKasturi 2015-05-26 09:58:38 UTC
Description of problem:
creating geo rep sessions with two different slave volumes using the same master volume does not work.

For example, there is a master volume called vol_master and two slave volumes vol_slave1 and vol_slave2.

user creates geo rep session between vol_master and vol_slave1 and it is sucessful.

Now user tries creating another session between vol_master and vol_slave2, the first session between vol_master and vol_slave disappears.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
rhsc-3.1.0-0.0.scratch.master.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a master volume and two slave volumes.
2. creating geo rep between master and first slave volume.
3. Now try creating another geo rep session between master and second slave volume.

Actual results:
geo rep session between the first slave volume and master volume disappears.

Expected results:
geo rep session between the master and first slave should not disappear.

Comment 4 Ramesh N 2015-06-15 05:40:03 UTC
Moving back to MODIFIED as the build is not ready but errata has moved the bugs to ON_QA.

Comment 5 Arthy Loganathan 2015-06-19 12:49:37 UTC
Verified the fix in build,
rhsc-3.1.0-0.60.el6.noarch

geo rep session between the first slave volume and master volume works fine, when user created session between master volume and second slave volume.
