Description of problem: I was installed latest ovirt-engine-setup-3.6.0-0.0.master.20150527172325.git8f6833f.el6.noarch and during the setup it show an error: [ ERROR ] Yum Cannot queue package iptables-services: Package iptables-services cannot be found It seems, the package iptables-services doesn't exist for rhel 6.6 https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/buildinfo?buildID=427056 ... I found only package for rhel7.x. Setup of engine after this error successfully completed. The error during the setup is confusing for user (for me) who installing the engine. They will search like myself the non-existing package. It would be nice to show the error only on relevant OS system -> where the package iptables-services can be installed (like RHEL7.x ...) if the package iptables-services really necessary with terminating the setup (if not, it would be nice display only WARNING message). If it can't be solved this way, then show this message as a WARNING or better INFO in this case (rhel 6.6). ERROR is something, that will have greater impact to proper functioning of engine and mostly ended with completely nonfunctional engine. From the user perspective, after I see red ERROR message which I cannot deal with, I will contact the support. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-setup-3.6.0-0.0.master.20150527172325.git8f6833f.el6.noarch How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. setup ovirt-engine Actual results: Confusing ERROR during setup of engine Expected results: Change the importance of this message and display it only on relevant system. (i. e. display WARNING or INFO) Additional info: -

Please also attach relevant logs. Can't see what can require it in the engine spec file. We recently changed ovirt-hosted-engine-setup to require iptables-services, but not on el6.
Created attachment 1036206 [details] Engine setup - update log This is happening on 3.6 update but not 3.5 (vt15.3 to vt15.4). I can check clean install both 3.5 and 3.6, but I guess it'll be the same.
OK, now I see :-) It's caused by the fix for bug 1224799 (in otopi). Since this is already discussed there, closing as duplicate - you can join the discussion there. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1224799 ***
