Description of problem:
No sound hardware detected in root account


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
22 workstation stable

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. install fedora 22 workstation from usb
2. log in as root user
3. no audio seen in gnome-shell
4. check for sound hardware in settings>sound ...none found

Actual results:


Expected results:
volume menu and sound hardware must be present

Fedora 22 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2016-07-19. Fedora 22 is
no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
