Description Jiri Canderle 2015-05-29 12:18:47 UTC
Since (2015-05-27) I've been getting this message when trying to
open my Google address book:

This address book cannot be opened. This either means that an incorrect URI was entered, or the server is unreachable.

Detailed error message: Unable to connect to 'Osobni': The requested resource was not found: https://developers.google.com/accounts/docs/AuthForInstalledApps

Running standard Evolution (3.12.11) on Fedora 21

I am using 2-step authentication on Google account

Thanks for a bug report. This had been discussed upstream already. Google disabled ClientLogin, as can be seen in the above URL, thus any Google address books configured directly in the Evolution stopped working. Use GNOME Online Accounts to add a Google account and enable only parts you are interested in (thus for example only the Contacts) there.
