This happened to me when I clicked on notification about connected usb flash disk.
As exactly reported on #15, it "happened to me when I clicked on notification about connected usb flash disk."
This just happened to me in F23 running Gnome 3.18.1.1.fc23.x86_64 on Wayland. One side effect was all the Gnome Tweak extensions were turned off. The bug tracking tool referred to a closed duplicate of this bug (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1271892) I was ejecting USB media at the time it happened.
Correction. I clicked on the connection notification of a USB disk. Same error happened when I attempted to reproduce it. Same symptom as reported in #15 and #16
