Fedora 21 -- correct behavior

Description of problem:
Prior to Fedora 22, user customizations to the system colors were recognized in the Firefox GUI and CSS; since Fedora 22, the current theme's default colors are used, even if the user made adjustments from those defaults. See attachments which illustrate the difference.

In the Mate Desktop environment, the theme's colors can be adjusted by going to Appearance Preferences->Theme->Customize->Colors

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
38.0, in Fedora 22 only (not Fedora 20 or 21)

How reproducible:
100%

Yes, that's correct. But Firefox is a Gtk3 application in Fedora 22 so you'd need to use gnome-control-center (gtk3) instead of mate-control-center (gtk2).
