This is all already fixed in Fedora. There is a series of patches that went into the 4.1-rc1 release that fixed things. Most were backported to the 4.0.2 stable kernel tree with commits: 1527fbabfa4fdb32f66b47dd48518572fb4e0eaa a15f7b5e276d1b8f71d3d64d7f3f509e77bee5e4 953bab2cb35f8f6f2a0183c1b27ff7466f72bccc 7052e71b2d085f76800115d4a212dcaf82b86262 7a9742a65c02e30a62ae42c765eb4dff26b51cc9 397dd1fc1225b478824134ddd5540f889b13809d 928116b22b1eb446c59a0fb93857d7a6d80930af 92e35ac5954f9f7829ad88066930a4b2b58fe4dd 2db706971b3f28b3d59a9af231578803da85def8 20e62ee6fa3da23a792ca31d4b68069060317260 c076cbf218f3cb83dffe6982587d2b9751318962 84b78514033ff22c443473214ab6d0508394cf7a Two of the series were missing, but those were added to Fedora last week and are queued up for the next upstream stable release.
