Kannada Sign Spacing Candrabindu glyph

Unicode has recently accepted 0C80 Kannada Sign Spacing Candrabindu. I am attaching the glyph for it. Please add this glyph to Lohit Kannada once the character is published in Unicode.

Note that I am going to propose a few more Unicode characters for Kannada for Vedic. Once Unicode accepts I'll attach those glyphs also here. This can be the placeholder bug to ensure that the work gets done.

Thanks.

Do update bug once character is published in Unicode standard or couple of weeks before. Its good to have Lohit release simultaneously with Unicode release.

I see this character is still not present in Unicode 8.0. When do you think this will happen?

Comment 3 Shriramana Sharma 2015-09-08 09:17:54 UTC
Not sure. Possibly 9.0 or at worst 10.0. (IIRC I heard they are also going to do one major version bump every year with minor versions reserved for emergency heavy use character releases [like Indian Rupee Sign] and such...)

Comment 4 Pravin Satpute 2015-09-08 09:52:55 UTC
I think lets close this bug for now and reopen once this is done. We will again check Lohit compatibility with Unicode 9.0.
