Description James (purpleidea) 2015-06-09 18:29:01 UTC
Description of problem:
Fedora 22 came out with a new version of Evolution. When replying to a message, sometimes the reply text you're writing is the same colour as the grey-ed out text you're replying to. It worked beautifully in Fedora 21.

When you see this issue, if you switch focus to a different window, and then back to that composer window, sometimes it gets fixed, but this is annoying to constantly do.

How reproducible:
Fairly consistently.

I find this 100% reproducible. A new composer window is gray text on a gray background. When you click send it goes to the former black on WHITE for a brief time showing you nice it used to look in Fedora 21 and prior releases (FIPR - fixes in prior release :=] ),

Comment 4 Milan Crha 2015-07-08 15:59:20 UTC
Right. As the upstream bug report mentions, this is fixed in the upcoming evolution 3.16.4.

Comment 5 Ray Holme 2015-07-21 12:29:18 UTC
And there is a workaround - click HTML and you get a white screen. :=]

Comment 6 Milan Crha 2015-07-21 14:07:12 UTC
The 3.16.4 is available for updates now.

Comment 7 Ray Holme 2015-07-21 15:30:15 UTC
fixed - thanks. NICE - upstream has arrived
