There is a --max-width=<int> parameter that could be used. It should probably default to the max width of the terminal, but as far as I can tell that is a part of the openstack command (from cliff, really).
This bug is against a Version which has reached End of Life. If it's still present in supported release (http://releases.openstack.org), please update Version and reopen.
