no flags Details

Description David Tonhofer 2004-05-11 16:31:15 UTC
Description of problem:

- Kernel is stock RedHat kernel (2.4.20-24.9), recompiled to move
  most modules into the monolith.
- Machine has an Adaptec AIC-7892A U160/m (rev 02) SCSI host
  adapter.
- Attached to that adapter I have an HP DLT VS80 8-way
  tape robot.
- While running HP's Linux version of 'StorageWorks Library and
  Tape Tools', available at:

  http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/storageworks/ltt/index.html

to test the tape drive, we get a kernel panic.

How reproducible:

Didn't try - this is the production machine :-o
