The elfutils spec file BuildRequires on glibc-headers. Is it possible to please change the elfuitls spec file to BuildRequires on glibc-devel? The glibc-headers package may or may not go away in a future sub-package refactoring. Depending on glibc-devel of a particular version will always get you the glibc-headers of the same version for the version of interest for elfutils. Thus: BuildRequires: glibc-devel >= 2.3.4-11 Is equivalent and should be used instead. Thanks.
glibc 2.3.4 was released in December 2004. I think everybody has since migrated to at least RHEL 4.5 (which introduced that glibc version). So I just removed that particular BuildRequires. gcc will pull it in anyway, and we have a versioned gcc BuildRequires.
