Description of problem: In the latest version of ktorrent the number that expresses the percentage of progress of a torrent has been replaced by a line that I find totally incomprehensible and unusable. How do you understand if the progress is 99.8% or 100%? Should I use a ruler on the monitor? Who hates so much the numbers and math to operate such a choice? Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ktorrent-4.3.1-14.fc22.x86_64 How reproducible: Start a torrent with ktorrent Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a torrent with ktorrent 2. Wait for the torrent to start 3. You can not know the exact percentage of progress of the torrent; you can only have a very vague idea Actual results: An incomprehensible and unusable line under the column of percentage Expected results: The percentage as a number Additional info:

Dear Marco, thanks for reporting the bug. Since the described behavior seems to be related to the original source code and not our packaging, we filled a bug report upstreams. We will track the changes there and update this bug report accordingly.
Dear Marco, upstream mentioned that there was no change in the regarding code for years. They assume that it is due to a change in the style. Can you please re-check with other styles?
Today I tried ktorrent in Kde. I see a blue line, followed by the percentage. This is ok. But I always use Gnome, and if I open ktorrent in gnome I only see a green thin line, and no percentage after it. If I enlarge the field, only the line is enlarged, and no percentage is shown. Note that, if I select the single file and choose "File" on the bottom, the total percentage is shown selecting the "File tree" mode, but in the list of file at the top no percentage is shown (unless I'm using Kde instead od Gnome) Note that until Fedora 21 I always opened ktorrent in Gnome viewing the percentage, and not the advancement line.
ok, this may be related to the widget style used outside of kde. Mind testing if dnf remove adwaita-qt4 and (re)starting ktorrent helps?
I changed, in /usr/share/applications/kde4/ktorrent.desktop, Exec=ktorrent %i -caption "%c" %u with Exec=ktorrent %i -style Oxygen -caption "%c" %u and the style now is as on Fedora 21, with percentage shown into a blue line. Perhaps ktorrent have a problem to find a default theme out of kde? But so it works.
that highlights that it is a adwaita-qt theming issue, thanks, re-assigning.
If I do dnf remove adwaita-qt4, the command ktorrent works fine, as ktorrent -style Oxygen Yes, the problem is adwaita-qt4
