+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1207947 +++ Description of problem: As of now network tab shows fields/columns related to Virt. When installed in gluster only mode user should not be seeing all these fields. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-webadmin-portal-3.6.0-0.0.master.20150329172249.git660d494.el6.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install ovirt in gluster only mode. 2. Click on the networks main tab 3. Actual results: User will be able to see fields which are related to ovirt. Additional info: --- Additional comment from Sven Kieske on 2015-04-10 07:25:38 EDT --- As there is no patch attached I just ask it here: How was this handled? Did you really remove this information just for gluster-only mode or for all other modes too? Because this is viable information for some users. thanks Sven --- Additional comment from Sahina Bose on 2015-04-27 06:06:07 EDT --- Updated patch link. Removed the sub-tabs relevant only to virt in gluster only mode. --- Additional comment from RamaKasturi on 2015-05-19 04:54:02 EDT --- Moving this bug back to assigned because the ask in the bug was to remove Data Center, VLAN tag and provider from the main tab. Remove VM Network and VLAN tag from the general sub tab. --- Additional comment from RamaKasturi on 2015-05-19 04:55:02 EDT ---
Verified and works fine with build rhsc-3.1.0-0.60.el6.noarch. In the networks tab of RHSC only the following fields are seen: 1) Name 2) Role 3) Description 4) Label
what does label column indicate in the network tab?
it displays the labels that are associated with network. See http://www.ovirt.org/Features/NetworkLabels
